Danni doesn't lack passion when it comes to exploring and learning. She often has something to say whether you are talking about machines, dancing, coding, interior design, or gardening. She pretends her home is a greenhouse and is often working on many projects.

Chris Mabey is an assistant professor of mechanical engineering at Clemson. He previously was the editor of the BYU Design Review, ran a start up, worked in the bike industry, and now researches how to improve product impact.

Samuel is a PhD candidate in BYU’s mechanical engineering program. He believes that design is a creative, innovative endeavor everyone can contribute to, and that design thinking can provide answers to society’s most pressing challenges.

Andrew graduated from the Manufacturing Engineering Department at BYU in May 2025. He has a lot of design experience and loves making things that are technically functional and aesthetically pleasing. Andrew is eager to help everyone learn about the entire design process.

Jake’s dream is to build castles and own a ski resort. In the meantime, he loves to design, snowboard, play tennis, and build custom home-décor. Back in the day, Jake’s nickname was “Rogue Candle” and he could often be caught saying: “Rogue Candle, do what I want.”

Kaytlin grew up in Northern California. She graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering at BYU in 2022 and is passionate about creativity and design.

Natalie is a woman of many interests, and mechanical design happens to be one of them. She graduated from the mechanical engineering department at BYU in 2025, and she hopes to use her skills as an engineer to design solutions for environmental issues.
